For our Visual Development class, we were to redesign the story "Michael Strogoff" by Jules Verne. It's such a dry and serious story that I decided to try a more whimsical setting for contrast. This project was a ton of fun. I definitely had to break out of my comfort zone for most of it. Thanks to great classmates and teachers, this was one of the best classes I've ever had. I've got a bunch more work from this project that I'll post up eventually. And yes, the final duel scene is an allusion to Mustafar :)

Awesome work! I was really happy to take class together with you.
I agree -- some really great stuff. Love that composition with all the boxes!
Woohoo! Awesome as usual, really fun idea too. Love the idea that the entire story happens in a store/mall. I can't wait to take this class...
